The owner of this beautiful apartment had just returned from years living in New York and wanted to bring some of the NY loft vibe to the new place in Brussels. Books are important for this couple, so it all started with this bespoke therefore unique bookcase. The rest followed to complement the elegance of the bookcase. We share a love of colour, so I was happy to bring in a colourful rug that works perfectly in the scheme and with the brand new parquet flooring.
